Allan G. Cook – 1951-2019
Only recently, our family said goodbye to a friend, mentor and work colleague. Allan was a shining example of what love and community is and needs. We will always miss him.
Allan was always helping people, lifting them up, and allowing their potential to be reached. He touched the lives of many, and even when we said goodbye, I felt many were moved with what was a special and unique memorial service.
Allan requested a private cremation (direct cremation). A Hawaiian “Paddle Out” Farewell was what both Allan and his family wanted as the Memorial Service. This was very personal to Allan as he was a guardian of the ocean, a Waterman, who devoted his life and being to helping those around him.
This day was beautiful, and we will miss you dearly.
